Strange.
The Star refers to Moore as:
quote:
Muckraking documentarian Michael Moore has at least one friend in the political establishment.
"Muckracking"?!? Is that a word?

Doubtlessly, some of Moore's more...ah..."feverent" defenders will call this an attack on the man.

Hot diggity, all dem history classes is about to pay off!

1910, when sensationalism in reporting really started to take off baby! So much so they made a new word....

Muckrake: "to search out and publicly expose real or apparent misconduct of a prominent individual or business" (duh!)

INN OHTER WERDS: to rake muck! IN HIP 1910 LINGO.

Back in the "Fuck Spain, Remember the Maine" era of what was laughingly referred to as "journalism".

No, but "muckraking", the word that they used, is.

And "feverent" isn't a word, either, by the way.

Oh, an another thing: Hey, Canadians! Be sure to vote in your next local or federal election!

There, I just violated Canadian law. What are you going to do about it, bitches?

Hmmm...not according to websters, and yet there's hundreds of uses of it online and in quotes.

(shrugs)

It's only interference (supposedly) if you are in Canada stirring up trouble.
Probably so us sneaky Americans dont influence Canada's distinctively unique culture or something.

Like having a Prime Directive in a universe where everyone's humanoid and shares DNA so simmular that crossbreeding is possible...pointless except in the abstract.
