Well thank you so much for ruining my happy moment. I'm going to go write my suicide note now...

Aww Lee - what a nice sentiment - the 'group hug' post not the post it to your MySpace page. [Smile]

9 years! *yikes* - back with the old inline board. Yes not another one of those 'remember' posts.

I have a distinct memory, posting about the 4 new First Contact Classes. Identity Crisis replied to one of my posts. This was back when the board was connected to UP. Or before that, or something. I also used to post to Trekweb then - GAH!

Still wish CC would do the 'festive' colour changes on certain days like he did once... Valentines Day is coming up - I'm sure this forum would look... GREAT... in shades of pink... Gah! [Smile]

What about those of us who do don't see any form of love? Why don't they have a "I hate Everybody and wish they were dead" day?

If you can convince a greeting card company to do "I hate you and wish you were dead" cards, then a "I8U" day would soon be marketed. Maybe you could get cards with various political leader's name already printed?
We could send one to TrekBBS, or the writer of Voyager's "threshold", or who ever got the length of the Defiant wrong in vFx....

Many countries already have "I hate you" days.
Iran has one whole day dedicated to hating/destroying Israel (though every day seems to fall into that category, I guess).

No greeting cards I know of, but someone makes a ton of cash by selling Israel and American flags to be burned.

They'll soon be adding Denmark flags to the list. That cartoon that Danish guy made has been stirring up a lot of trouble lately.

I dunno. Who? I don't read a lot of news surrounding the Iraq war/Middle Eastern politics anymore.

Sadly, the Iranian (idiot) president is calling for the state newspapers to have a "Challenge the Holocaust" run of comics "to see if the west can really practice freedom of speach then".

Er...what the fuck? It's really Iran continuing to provoke Israel however possible (dont know why- eventually, Iran would lose badly in a military conflict) and calling it a response to the cartoons.

Y'know...the ones that started in Denmark (hardly a Jewish stronghold in Europe).
