There's loads of links here:

http://dir.yahoo.com/Society_and_Culture/Religion_and_Spirituality/Faiths_and_Practices/Scientology/

I find it interesting that the number of "opposing views" links outnumber the regular links by around 2 to one. I have read L.Ron Hubbard's science fiction for many years, though not continuously. I do not believe Scientology is reality-based. It appears to be nothing more than an attempt to use "religion" to separate people from their money. The fact that it began as a bogus form of psychology and had to temporarily shut down before being repackaged as a religion seems to bolster this opinion.

There was a two-hour special on Scientology this evening on A&E... Very interesting.

This site contains some especially damning evidence, as well: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Fishman/

Does anybody here remember the "Millennium" episode with that Jose' Chung character (the same one from the X-Files' "Jose' Chung's 'From Outer Space'"?

It did a bit on a scam religion called "Self-ology."

Which was an indirect, not-so-subtle but un-sue-able dig at Scientology.

Baloo and I have been reading the same books :)
