Warning: the following (for legal purposes, anyway) is largely speculation and conjecture. Any truth in the matter will out over time.
I have been in denial over something which has been troubling me ever since the start of the new year.
At first I had nothing to go by but an uneasy feeling that someone very dear to me was not being fully honest in our dealings. Rather than go into detail, I shall simply state that I have (circumstantial) evidence of my Wife's infidelity, and her declaration that:
It's none of my damn business.
and
My son is someone else's progeny.
(Unlikely, but Wife has been heard to utter non-truthful declarations before. "No I'm not pregnant." was one of them.)
I was going to say something flowery, but I'll be blunt. If I don't seem to have my usual sense of humor, it isn't you. Don't take it personal if I snap at you over the next few months. Please ask for an apology (I really am quite reasonable about these things) after I've had a chance to cool off.

Thanks, folks. I know that it's just electrons hitting phosphors, but your words seem to help some. Not the situation, I gotta handle that myself, but my emotional equilibrium.
