Today, 24 October, is United Nations Day. As sci-fi fans, we should take note of this important step towards a unified world government & celebrate all the good that the UN has accomplished over the past 55 years.

I helped someone with heavy shopping onto the train.
That person might have then gotten home quicker.
They might then have seen their husband in bed with another man.
She might have then killed both of them where they, er, lay.
Their dead bodies might have been used for organ transplants, and saved the life if a little boy in a wheelchair, who coughs in a sweet but painful manner.
So, I think, I've done my bit.
