It is singular

It is not from a movie

It is not spaceborne without the aid of an outside assistance.

It is not from a series that started after 1990 (other words: it's TOS or TNG)

It was not first introduced in TOS

JeffR: Well, at one point it was alive. It was alive at the beginning of the episode and dead by the end. It is not a mechanical or in-animate object, if that's what you're getting at.

Fab: It was in season one.

So, to sum up:

It is singular

It is not from a movie

It is not spaceborne without the aid of an outside assistance.

It is not from a series that started after 1990 (other words: it's TOS or TNG)

It was not first introduced in TOS

Is it from the first half of season one? From the beginning of "Encounter at Farpoint" to the end of "The Big Goodbye".

Sorry, Fabrux.

The Beta Renner Cloud is not humanoid. Nor was it alive at the beginning of the episode and not alive at the end.

So, to sum up:

It is singular

It is not from a movie

It is from season one.

It is from the first half of season one, between "Encounter at Farpoint" and "The Big Goodbye"

It is humanoid.

It is NOT Portal Six-Three.

It is NOT an Antican (or a certain Selay delegate)

It is NOT the Beta-Renner Cloud.
