We're beginning to get info on Starfleet Academy.
Holly Hunter was announced as playing the lead captain-slash-chancellor of the Academy a while back, but Flare was throwing a fit at the time.
Just announced is that Paul Giamatti will be playing an antagonist, the reaction to which seems to universally be to post pics of Giamatti dyed blue from the movie "Big Fat Liar" and speculating that he'll be playing an Andorian. However, I believe that to be complete nonsense. Obviously, he'll be playing a Bolian.

What sort of antagonist can an Academy series have? Will be be Space Snape?

The setting in the 32nd century was bad enough as I despise their take on Starfleet of that period (ships, uniforms) and now they need a main antagonist?
