I like Voyager too. Yeah it has some real shit episodes but so do the other 3 series and every other TV show out there.
My only gripe is continuity doesn't exist and they ruined the Borg's image.

"Continuity doesn't exist and they've ruined the borg's image."

Outright lying won't get you anywhere, there's a lot of continuity in Voyager. And it's very hard to portay a person or group for long without repeating yourself or, as someone said earlier, expose their vulnerabilities.

I still think the Borg rocks, and Voyager has been forced to work with the newer image of the borg that "First Contact" established.
Before that, the borg didn't have an image, they were just a force of nature. Very entertaining to blow up one borg cube every other week without a motive, you're just "pruning" the galaxy. Like the indian-slaughters in crappier western-flicks...

The problem with the Borg was different writers interpreting them differently. When we first saw them in "Q Who?", they scared the piss outta me. But even as early as their very next appearance, their image and methods had started to alter. With the exception of "I, Borg" and its 'sequels', the development of the Borg was a long, slippery slope from implacable and scary to slimy and brainless.

*sigh*

I am not trying to bash Voyager, but there's a lot of descrepencies and screw ups (like Tuvok's rank in earlier seasons from Lt to Lt Cmd and back again I think) and the Borg don't seem all that scary or threatening anymore.

Well if you don't like it don't watch it, I am one of the few that do like to watch Voyager, and it's pretty sad when the two most frequented threads in the Voyager forum are Voyager bashing.

I think it's because its least liked show of Trek. One amazing thing however is that alotof women like it more than men. In my school, there are fans (majoriry of them are Preppy girls too) and then there are the people who have no clue what Star Trek is.

I didn't say that! All I said it's the least liked show of all the series. However I wasn't clear on whcih series. I was hoping that you would have figured out that I meant the 4 "live action" series.

I never saw the TAS, there actually was sex on the bridge?

Ok, what is so wrong with voyager? Continuity? TNG and TOS were very different shows, they were just out there exploring, they weren't trying to get home, it's different. Voyager is a unique series, and if you're gonna watch it, just shut up and enjoy, i guarantee you'll like it. But if you analyze it to death and ruin everything good about it, well just don't watch it, you'll be doing everyone a favour.
This is not intended to a specific person but to everyone that decides to bash voyager, read this first and think about it for awhile before posting and wasting our time.

*LOL* Matrix, TAS had a bridge officer who was Caitian (I think?). They're humanoid cats. :-)

Not to be confused with Cats, the apparently have Cyborg evil leader from Zero Wing, whose Base he has were belong to you. Once.

I do think this, however, if it was intentional or not, is the most entertaining sentence I have ever read:

"I never saw the TAS, there actually was sex on the bridge?"

Kinda makes me feel special.

Nah, it wasn't intentional, it was a semi-serious question.
