In the mess hall, Master Chief Neelix said that he had 156 chips. These chips were individually numbered and were lotted to the crew randomly. If I understand this correctly, the crew now numbers 156.

Yeah, but is that in the holonovel or in reality?

Master Chief? I'd say the holo-novel...

Master *chef*. Anyway, the number was *146*, not 156. This however may not count Neelix or Icheb, who understandably would have no one to contact in the Alpha Quadrant - well, maybe Icheb, who was applying for the Academy earlier this year.

And it included Neelix, so I think it's safe to assume it included Icheb too (and Naomi Wildman and anyone else aboard the ship regardless of age or quadrant of origin).

You know, for once it might have actually been appropriate to have a scene with Naomi. We could have seen her meeting her father.

Wow... Roll Call lists 146 crewmembers as the current count. And that's as of the end of February. Could it be that the writers actually got the number right?

That's hardly "right", as it would therefore mean that Voyager had 182 people aboard at the end of Caretaker, and only six people killed in that last 5 1/2 years..!

If torpedoes got them what about tricorders? Oh wait, scratch that, Voyager has too many tricorders to mention while they have how many torpedoes? 9-18?

I think even the most dedicated torpedo-counter gave up long ago. . . basically, I think Tovok's very-early-on comment about how many torpedoes they had was sloppy writing, it beggared belief that they could (presumably) replace shuttles but not torpedoes.

I would just not be surprised if Sternbech included a reason for having an infinate number of supplies onboard Voyager, such as the shuttles and torpedoes. I'm assuming that he would say that the ship has a Federation Industrial Replicator onboard. That or Voyager has a magic genie onboard that Janeway uses once in a while.

But Janeway could have done sexual favors for certain members of the Q Continum also...
