I remember reading somewhere that the Voyager was at one point going to have been the Excalibur, and the series The Excalibur Voyages. That might be apocryphal, though.

I was hopeing that they would do a comercial, with the bridge crew, going to lunch, Mulgrew giving orders as they pile into a Voyager, McNeil as the driver. (Perhaps running over a mailbox, or something like that.)

oh, trekBBS isn't so bad as long as you ignore everyone else and only read the posts that you actually wrote and NEVER EVER EVER read any posts that others wrote in response to what you posted. hey, i'm a commander at trekbbs! snay, despite the fact that i don't know you *sob*, i think you would probably like the trekbbs demigod mr. stinkypants. oh yeah, the subject at hand. i think that voyager was named that because USS Fucking Stupid Shit would have alienated all the people who actually liked the series.
