minor spilers ahead... . . . . . . . . . . At TGL, it says that in the final epsisode the Dominion is launching a major offensive. Does this serve as evidence that the Dominion still holds betazed? Betazed was mentioning as being a very strategic point. It could be used as a luanching off point for invasions of Vulcan, Andora, Tellar, Aplha Centauri, and Earth. I don;t know how else the Dominion could be launching an offenseive. The allies are holding chin'toka and colarden, so the dominion must have some jumping off point to have an offensive.

I think that this new offensive is probably a kind of last ditch attempt to push the allies back and regain some territory, much like the battle of the bulge from the second world war. Or the Dominion is now a little more confident with their new ally. But I don't think we can draw any conclusions from it about how much territory the Dominion still holds.

The invasion of Colarden was kinda just seen in backround discussions. In "Afterimgae," Ezri told Garak that his intelligence information convinced the allies to launch a new offensive at collarden. In "The Emperror's New Cloak," Martok and Sisko were seen dsicussing trying to move the lines BEYOND Colarden.
