$ $ $ $ $ $ I noticed something interesting while watching "What you leave behind" on tape the other day. When Odo returns to the Founder's planet at the end of the show, he and Kira beam down to the same little island where Sisko, Odo and Bashir beamed down to when Odo was taken home to be judged right before he lost his shapeshifting abilities earlier in the series.
I noticed a definate imprint in the sand that looks as if it is meant to be the imprint he left as he lay in the sand the last time he was there. What do you think? If this is what the imprint was actually meant to be, I think it's a great example of continuity and it's one of those little things that rewards true fans for watching all those years.

Uh, wow. It's not anything I've heard of before. I think I have this one on tape...
I suppose it depends on what sort of weather "Founder Prime" gets.

Well, it's not exactly a human imprint. I mean you can't see elbow marks or anything, but there's definately something there...

Yes they did but Odo was brought to the new planet for judgement. That's why they had to go hunting for the Founders when Odo got sick. They remained on this planet for the rest of the series. Although it does bring up the new question of how did Kira and Odo know where the planet was if the Defiant's sensors were scrambled last time they went there?

I doubt that Kira and Odo just took a runabout to the Founder's planet. I'd bet that the Dominion stowed their ship in a shuttlebay and took them the rest of the way. No problem for Odo, but I'd imagine Kira was a little nervous on the ride home.

I would be :P Actually, I think they showed a runabout entering orbit of the planet though. And I believe it was a Fed transporter beam that beamed them down. I suppose the Founder woman could've told Odo while they were linked. She could've also ordered safe passage for Kira and Odo.
