OK, here is a little something - what are the things that you wished that had on DS9/showed you that you never got to see... be they characters, story lines etc.
personally - of the top of my head:
The Tholians - would have loved to have seen them Opaka, and the connection between her earring and Molly. The Power core/engine room of DS9 Other races of the Dominion. Views of the pylons from Windows. The other half of the promenade The back of the runabouts. More of Jadzia's family. Andorians
There are others I just can't remember now.

The return of Opaka definately would have made an incredible story line. I had the opening scene of the show all planned out. A damaged shuttle comes limping through the wormhole and is towed into the station. No lifesigns. Sisko and Kira go to investigate and this crumpled, mangled form comes staggering out in the shadow of the ship's open hatch. Kira draws her phaser and points it. "Put your weapon down, Major" says Sisko. "I don't think it'll do much good." The camera moves in tight on the figure and Opaka raises her scarred head into the light. You can barely recognize the Kai's robes she had on.
I also would have liked to see some more info on where the two doors on the side of Sisko's office go. More stories like Civil Defense where we see unexplored and scarry parts of this huge station would've been good early on too.

Yeah, Opaka did tell Sisko that his pagh and hers will cross again. They didn't explore that in the end. I had been debating with my dad whether they would bring Opaka back - I guess I lost.

Opaka. I haven't heard that name in a long, long time. She was good for the show. So rightforward, no playing games, no charades, saying this, meaning that.

Opaka was the Kai of Bajor for the first several episodes of DS9. She was trapped on a planet in the Gamma Quadrant. This was the major event that launched the political/ religious power struggle on Bajor during the first and second seasons.
