In the DS9 episode "Chimera", another of the hundred Changelings that the Founders sent out to 'explore' the galaxy meets up with Odo. They linked on more than one occasion. This was before Bashir and company discovered that Odo carried the Changeling Disease. We can therefore assume that Laas, the other Changeling, is now infected with this disease. Since he was not a part of the Great Link, he would not have been cured when Odo returned home.
This would make Laas the only remaining Changeling carrying the disease.
My question is, does anyone think that Laas will turn up in the future, or if it would make a good story? And what will his mood be like? This is of course assuming that he is not a pile of dust floating through space by now.

Laas could come back in some of the other series...if the new series will be set in the same time as the Dominion war (or slightly after it) then why shouldn't somebody find him?

If they're going to address the Laas issue, it'll have to be in a DS9 movie because it'd be unrealistic having him stumble upon yet another Federation ship to whom he displays the utmost contempt.
Even if they decide to use him in a movie, what are they going to do? They already have the cure, so they just grab a hypospray and inject it, unless of course the virus has now mutated and become resistant to the vaccine in which case it'll be even more far fetched that it otherwise may have been.
Let it rest. They need fresh ideas, something completely different - not flashbacks to what once was.
