I spent a weekend in London a couple of months ago and of course visited the Barbican Centre to watch the delicious "Art Of Star Wars"-exhibition. My dad was smart enough to bring his digital camera, so I got eight floppies filled with nice 1280x960 pics of it.
Now, here's the thing, when I came to the "Jabba The Hut"-corner I saw a little glass-frame, containing four little dolls representing authentic, discarded Jabba-interpretations.

By God, man, you're fast! Pretty nifty, I thought. Perhaps shows the more intimate relationship between ILM and Star Trek.

Well, maybe. If Morn basted his head in a vat of sulfuric acid overnight and folded himself into a thin batter to be baked at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Perhaps this is why Morn doesn't talk on screen. He only speaks Hutt, and they didn't want to use subtitles... :-)

Well I never thought about it, but Morn's voice does resemble Jabba's basso rumble. Could anyone with connections ask the creators how Morn got his looks and voice? It's bound to be interesting...

Not to mention the Breen and the bounty hunter Leia posed as in RotJ.

Nim, Morn NEVER spoke, he never uttered a word, or a gutteral sound...
Not when he was telling a joke in Emmisary Not when Odo shooed him off the Promenade Not when at Dax's party Not even when he was drinking
Morn Never spoke a word But that didn't stop him being a chatterbox.
OK, so it wasn't meant to resemble Dr. Suess... so well eh... hah...
blah.
Pleh.
