I want to know once and for all WHAT the significance of this infamous number is. Am I right in assuming it's yet another Buckaroo Banzai reference?

Another one: what were the first and last occurences of the Number? IIRC, the last one was in some ENT episode referring to circuit L-47.

References to in-joke from one of production staff's college days. Which guy you ask? I forgot. Ask someone else here.

47 was always Joe Menosky's doing. Whenever editing scripts he would always change various numbers and references to be, or to include 47. It was his favourite number.

As mentioned, it was an in-joke at the college he attended.

Yeah, Sev Trek is horrible. And it interferes with me forgetting about Voyager.

Picard: Mr. Crusher, what's our maximum speed this week?
Wesley: [checking manual] Uh, 9.4, sir.
Picard: Very good. Take us to Warp 9.8 then.
Wesley: Aye, sir. Warp 9.2 it is.

Don't tell me you're another Sev Trek hater DeadCujo! What's your problem with it apart from the one stated? [Confused]

It's a glorious avenue of comedic perfection, certainly. It is comedic genius. GENIUS!

If by glorious, you mean it has the same potential as a Voyager spinoff, then yes.

"What's your problem with it apart from the one stated?"

The reason he stated is that he thinks it's horrible. Precisely what other reason does he need? If I kick you in the face, and you tell me to stop because it hurts, should I ask why you dislike being kicked in the face, other than the reason stated?

TSN speaks great wisdom. TSN speaks great truth. TSN ... is making sense.

This Fall, on UPN: TSN is Making Sense! What happens when a science-fiction Bulletin Board moderator has to take in his three nephews and three nieces? Comedic hijinks ensue on "TSN IS MAKING SENSE" ...

Starring Bernie Mac as TSN, with Johnathon Frakes as "Best Buddy #1" and newcover Charles Capps as "That Bearded Guy From Down the Hall Who Wants to Carve My Nephews and Nieces Into Tiny Pieces With a Sharpened Lego."
