Yeah, he ended up living in the 22nd century on board Earth's first warp 5 starship.
Man, that would be a neat series ending...seeing Al pop up (he's already shown that he's willing to do ENT ), and then Scott leaps out, letting us see what Archer really looks like.

You'll notice, they got the term "imaging chamber" from QL into Enterprise as Phlox's little CAT scanner type thing.

Yah, I know. I was slightly disappointed that he didn't walk through glowing blue, sliding door at some point during the episode.

I was just hoping he'd have an assistant named "Gushy".

OMG - so true. 1st season = best.
Just to clarify a few things about my first post...
I'm saying TNG beats any finale of ANYTHING - it's not specifically Sci-fi.
DS9 is my fav series - but the ending just... wasn't right... the reuse of footage - the complete bore that was The Fire Caves, The tacky 'memory' scenes.
The saving graces: Vic Fontaine, Kira and Odo and the spectacular pull-back from DS9 with Kira and Jake echoing "The Visitor".

-------------------- Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

I thought so. We're getting the current season at the moment, and I was sure we weren't THAT far behind the US.
