I know I haven't posted here in a long time but I just wanted to report some very sad news. To get the full report go to Toymania's Star Trek Page
Toymania's site has just reported yesterday that Playmates will cease the production of Star Trek action figures. Now this is both a relief and harsh blow since the quality of the figures have diminished the past few years. Scott Gordon @ toymania has been a great reliable source over the past few years and I just want to say thank you!
Also, I doubt this is the end of Star Trek figures and believe that by the next series, there will be a new st figure provider (at least for the new series).
ON a personal note, I just want to say that this is really sad. I remember the first figure I bought and now it feels like my collection is over. However, I am happy that I don't have to keep going around looking for those stupid hard to find figuresthat is something I won't miss! At least now the value of my collection will go up.ha ha ha!!!

I never bought any figures, Though I don't know why not, God knows I have enough other crap. May well be a good investment Mattrek. Like the stamps, they are a double whammy, trek collectors may want them, and Doll collectors may want them.
