The Special edition features an audiocommentary by Robert Wise and Nicholas Meyer (!) as well as various interviews with the late great director. And - I never knew this - his first film as director was one I absolutely love, Curse of the Cat People (the most out-of-leftfield sequel ever, until we found out Connor MacLeod came from planet Zeist).
