Anybody has the game? I only ask because mine seems to suffer from intense slowdowns and choppy gameplay. I think its told old for my PC. If anyone has a solution please feel free to post.

Computer specs:
Dell Dimension 4600
Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.60
1.2 GB RAM
ATI Radeon X1600 Series Graphic Card.

Yep, too old. The last time I played this game well, it was on Win98. XP caused mine to go all glitchy - it would play, sometimes, but would haveall the wrong specs and data loaded and the wrong mission parameters.

Well I might have found a fix. If you lower your sound acceleration to basic and set your refresh rate to 60 Hertz it might help.

That's pretty much it. Older games can't seem to deal with sound acceleration.

And if that doesn't work, right-click the main executable and select "Windows 98" from the Compatibility pull-down in the Properties dialog.

I got mine to work, though it would crash sometimes. I can't remember what I did though and the Windows system isn't working.

Its possible though.

I thought ST: Armada was designed for XP? Or is that ST: BC?

The Armada requirements state "Windows 95/98" so I don't think so
