In ST:TMP, Decker was pointing out a display of other Enterprises to the Ilia probe. There's one that was never seen anywhere in Trek, which has been identified as being something from another Rodenberry project that never got off the ground. My question is this: does anyone know what that project was? "Battleground: Earth" (A.K.A. "Earth: Final Conflict")? "Starship"? "Andromeda"?

I saw that picture before ST:TMP with a little description beside it saying it was the main ship from a Roddenberry series about a genius crew exploring outer space. I don't recall if there was ever a title attached, but I think this was meant to be a kind of "Star Trek" closer to our own time period, not so far into the future.

Wow. I never knew there was that much info on that ship. It sounds like it might have made for an interesting series. But 10:1 m/a ratio? I don't think so!
