It's certainly the best Trek Movie, but in no way is it the best Trek Movie.

There's no other way to explain it.

Well I could have told you that, and who said it was the best Trek ever? Doesn't make me forget Wrath of Khan or First Contact.

I feel the opposite way about it. It nailed the "Trek" (casting, dialog, sets, starships, and general feel), which I thought would be the difficult part. However, it wasn't really able to deliver as a movie (plot and script in general).
