With UPN just holding on at the bottom of the net works and Paramount buying CBS this summer, do you think the next Star Trek show would be on UPN, CBS or somthing totally different?

Paramount isn't purchasing CBS, Viacom is. (And technically they aren't purchasing the network but the company that owns the network.) This does mean that Paramount and CBS are both owned by the same company. But that doesn't necessarily mean anything as far as Star Trek goes. Viacom has owned MTV and VH1 for some time, and I can't say I recall either of those networks ever doing anyting Trek-related. Well, unless you count Jeri Ryan hosting VH1's video countdown.

According to what I've read, FCC regs prohibit the same company from operating two over-the-air networks, and this will be UPN's last season. This should be taken with a grain of salt, though, since I don't have the slightest f***ing clue what I'm talking about.
(Actually, better make that a salt lick.)

Viacom has said that they don't want UPN. I don't know what will happen to it, but I don't think it will end before Voyagers seven years are up.
