I heard a rumour about a new Trek series - basically it follows the one term office of the Federation President of Star Trek: IV supposedly there was a scandle when he was caught having 'sexual relations' with his Deltan intern.

Guest stars Gillian from the 80's (The Whale Chick)
and shows the rise of the Star Trek: VI Federation President.

Actually, I think that may have been one of the two official ideas shot to tiny bits by Paramount...
