quote: UPN has decided to renew Star Trek: Enterprise for a fourth season, the SaveEnterprise.com fan campaign reported today. The official UPN press presentation of the network's Fall schedule isn't scheduled until Thursday, but a press release from the campaign quoted unnamed production sources as saying the show would definitely be back. The site reported Star Trek executive producer Rick Berman would be flying into New York this week in order to make the official announcement himself.

"Thanks go out to SaveEnterprise.com for this."
How do you properly thank someone who does such a thing...
tar & feather? hang them by their toenails? turn cans of air upside down and unleash the blast on their skin? remove their fingers via tourniquet? full body hair removal via flame?
I just don't know... can anyone else think of something proper?

J: Well, we'll have a talk with the SaveEnterprise people and see if they'll stop tying you to a chair once a week and forcing you to watch the show.

So... how the hell do they continue from this Xindi arc? They can't just go back to exploring, since that is so 2001.
They'd have to really go for this Temporal War now. Probably bringing back the Suliban. We also have the Andorian arc still open, and even Romulan and Klingon arcs.
But first I'd just really like to see some "Family"-type episode. Give those people some rest, refocus on Reed and the minor characters.

There's a whole bunch of stories that can come from repairing the ship, lost crew members, the political ramafications of Earth being attacked, and how the Vulcans and Andorians reacted to it.
When the Xindi story arc started, everybody demanded to know how THE EXPANSE could be invented, in a known universe.. it'll probobly go away this or next week. The temporial Cold war might even go poof, with this story arc, or might cool off for decades.. or heat up next season.

WEll, Berman has stated they won't completely wrap up the Xindi arc this season. So they'll churn out a few more episodes dealing with the arc next season. But they certainly won't go back to just exploration.

Didn't a Xindi character mention the Klingons, last episode? It was off-hand enough, to imply more familiarity then with Humans.
On the other tentacle, what are the Xindi going to do when they can't use the Spearbuilder's hyperspace shortcuts?? heh heh.
