Next question regarding ST9. While watching the credits I saw the librarian mentioned even though her seen was cut. And the last name was Young Ru'afo. Who's this? I never recalled hearing about a young Ru'afo scene let alone being cut.

In the noveliaztion, there's a flashback to when the Son'a were young and left the planet. There was probably a related scene in the movie originally that was cut.

It could be that, or it could be from what I'm told is the original ending, which had Ru'afo falling into the cascade of the 'make-you-younger' particles, and rapidly de-aging into a pre-embryonic blob.

I agree with First of Two. That scene was supposed to be the ending, but they wanted a more spectacular one. And it was already established that the effects of the particles would be gradual, not very fast.

I wish they would release an Insurrection with the cut scenes back in.
What a disturbing pattern, have you noticed nearly all the Trek movies that have been cut to pieces are generally the "crappier" ones...
(1) Cut to pieces (5) Lots of unrealised scenes and budget cuts. (7) Lots of potentially great scenes removed (9) LOTS and LOTS of original scenes removed to make it more actionesque??
