Well, what are your thoughts on this? For me (and in completely random sorting order to make it appear it is random):
TNG - Exiles by Howard Weinstein TNG - Masks by John Vornholt TNG - Reunion by Michael Jan Friedman
TOS - Deep Domain by Howard Weinstein TOS - The Great Starship Race by Diane Carey TOS - Sanctuary by John Vornholt
Erm. Well, that's only six -- but those are all that I can think of right now.

At first I had 20 books listed, then I deleted 10. Interesting that only TOS books survived.

I liked "Kobayashi Maru" a lot, but didn't buy it. I only own 7:
TOS "The Wounded Sky" TOS "Prime Directive" TOS "Yesterday's Son" TOS "Rules Of Engagement" TNG "Requiem" DS9 "Antimatter" DS9 "Warchild"
The TNG & DS9 ones I bought at an airport because I needed soemthing to do. But I absolutely ADORE the first 3 listed. I even made me a sim character that was Sadrao.

Sorry, but JeffK and Fitz; not ONE Peter David book? Pah!
Vendetta is my favourite. I don't read them anymore, since they became samey pap, but I do try and pick up any PAD books. And the Reeves-Stephens' too. Hey, I know that Federation was popularist fan-fic. But it was good.

My favorite Peter David book isn't Star Trek ... it's Howling Mad, and it's hilarious.

My favorite Star Trek novel of all time is John Ford's "The Final Reflection." If you novel readers out there haven't read it yet, you are missing out on some good stuff.
"A Stitch in Time" comes in second.
As for Peter David, not only are his Star Trek novels pretty good, but his Babylon 5 novels are excellent, although they are mostly either movie novelizations or novelizations of JMS scripts that were never filmed. The Legions of Fire trilogy is the best.

I had "The Captain's Daughter", the Excalibur books, "Q-in-Law", "I, Q", and his Young Adult books about Worf on my list, but I thought the remaining books were better.
