As I attempted to watch Voyager, I found myself asking a question-has the franchise matured, or has the franchise stagnated? I don't have the answer. I know this-I like dramas where the players emerge as fully developed identities who can exist w\o plot support. This is my bias.

Well, there's a rumour that the next thread I start won't contain the name "Star Trek," but may just be called "Enterprise. . ." 8)
