I got these from a bi-monthly Dutch SF magazine:

- 7 of 9 will appear in Star Trek 10

- Tom Hanks will play a big role as a captain.

This one is my all time favourite as of yet:

- Picard's daughter will come from the future. She will be played by the Charming: Jennifer Love Hewitt...

Also, Data will not only 'die', but be disassembled as well...

Now where did that salt go?

Where DO they pull this stuff out of?

And add these rumors to the list:

Capt. Janeway will be in it (her exploding hairdo will be the new secret weapon the feds are secretly developing)

Worf will appear naked!

Every train will run on time.

Every day will be the first day of spring.

And so on, and so on, bla bla bla.....

Everyone knows Tom Hanks is supposed to be a great S.T. fan, but to think that he would be in X, nah, I don't think so.

Rumors are to be ignored until they become fact. I'm desperatly waiting for that official announcement from Paramount.

Oh, and take it from me:

Germans HATE David Hasselhoff.

At least, the ones I know, including myself. (Sorry K.I.T.T. ;-) )

Oh yes, we do hate Hasselhoff!

And poor Doohan played a role in the Knight Rider 2000 TV-movie!

Wait a second, what is more awfull: That i can recall the name of the TV-Movie or that i can recall the appearance of our beloved Scotty actor in the movie?

I even had a dart-board with a picture of Hasselhoff's face on it...
I don't need to explain what happenend with the picture, do i?

Only to state some words in german:
Hasselhoff fand ich schon als Kind scheisse!

Worf will appear naked!
Every train will run on time.

This is way too easy.

Nemesis: Selbst wenn man Knight Rider noch mochte, ich sag nur Baywatch!!!

Anyway, I didn't know Doohan was in that movie. I believe you, though I won't watch that movie again!

Is "Kind Scheisse" some sort of weird German idiom? 'Cause, in English, we don't normally call people "kid shit"... *L*

Tom Hanks was one of the names tossed around for Zefrem Cochrane, though.

TSN: What Nemesis said translates as "I hated Hasselhoff (thought that he was shit) even when I was just a kid"
It's just the weirdness of German sentences that shit and kid are standing side by side.
No idiom for that matter - thank god.

Ah... See, I was translating it as "I found Hasselhoff even as kid shit", rather than "I found Hasselhoff, even as a kid, shit"...

For that matter, what does your line mean? "Myself, if one still liked Knight Rider, I just say Baywatch"?
