Hi everyone! I have a question that I hope someone could answer. Could someone post a link to a web page that has the plot of DS9? I am getting into the show, but DS9 does not come on where I live (montery, CA) and I have no idea where to look...
Thanks! ps, I know this is a DS9 question, but that board is closed, so I thought the next best place to ask would be here.

You've got the right board, but I'm not sure there's an easy answer to your question. You can get brief synopsis...synopsises? Synopi? Whatever they are, you can get them at the swanky Startrek.com.
And, of course, a host of other places too I imagine, but that's what springs to mind immediately.
To summarize the whole show...well...the plot is that Starfleet takes over the operation of an abandoned Cardassian space station in orbit of the formerly occupied planet Bajor. Then they discover a wormhole. Then interesting things happen for seven years.

Thank you! This will give me something to do while I eat lunch.

If I am not mistaken, Chris Howell still has much of DS9 between seasons three and seven on http://www.greatlink.org/ . Central to this site is the Dominion Arc, which transcends that entire time period.

If you want the closest thing to having all the eps on tape, get the DS9 Companion with all 176 scripts of DS9 for about $25 (shipping included)

Or you could just buy all the episodes on tape.
Or hire them. Or did CIC (or whoever), not bother with the tapes in the US?
-------------------- Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

That would be hideously expensive (176 eps x 1 ep per US tape x 15 dollars per tape), and besides, the request was for plot synopses in the first place. Scripts are a lot better than synopses, they offer as uncut an ep as you can get, plus many other things not seen on TV.
Also, I haven't seen seasons six and seven on commercial tapes, though I'm sure UK has them all, and probably at a lower price since they pack two eps on a tape. You'd need a multisystem VCR to play them here, though. The tapes don't sell as well here because those who want the episodes could've easily taped them off regular TV. DS9 is aired even now occassionally on WB11 in the New York area.
I'd suggest locating a DS9 fan in the area and asking him to let you copy his tapes. That's the cheapest way to go.
