If it only took them a week to build the Delta Flyer, why don't they replace all the shuttles with Delta Flyers? I mean the Delta Flyer is much faster and better. I don't think it is such a bad idea to use them as replacer of Voyager's current shuttles...

I would imagine the obvious answer to be that we don't know what it took to build the Delta Flyer in the first place. We don't know what they had to cannibalize in order to construct the ship. So while they might like to have a few more, it may not be possible.

And maybe there isn't enough room in the shuttlebay to fit anymore Delta Flyers.
