On the Starships thread, SWDAO Eye of the Beholder, Frank G posted some links to some fine screen captures to read the starships mentioned. I gave those pictures a good look over, and knowing the production staff to throw in some jokes in the okudagrams, I set forth to see if I could find any in the information those pictures provided.
Know what? I didn't find any jokes. Actually the datta on those three crewmwen where well thought out. Here is what I could decipher. Question marks represent numbers I couldn't read. Words in paragraphes are my best guess.

Maybe someone has a better image manipulating software than I do and can discover what the unknowns are, or correct any mistakes I may have made. But I think I did a darn good job of it myself.

Not bad! My studies of ancient Greek and Roman inscriptions has made me familiar with many similar such texts, and you learn to fill in the gaps. As Frank has already pointed out, Kwan's dates of assignmenst to his three ships are all the same. . . 8)

When the episode becomes available on DVD in the next century, the reading of the information will become more easier. It seems from personnel experience and from the vidcaps that video has, when paused, a terrible tendency to become fuzzy, out of focus, and requiring enhancements to read the information. From my own personnel experience, I have found that when an image is frozen on DVD the image is clear as if the scene in question was unpaused.

Actually, I wasn't the one who mentioned that the dates were the same, but I did mention that the birthdates were all in the 4xxxx range...

The reason the image is unclear is because the video-head inside the VCR continues tomove and rub against the tape although the tape itself is still.

The thing that had me confused was Pacelli's rank of Support. That is what the word looks like, and it makes vague sence, but it makes hinting at Starfleet's enlisted rank structure more difficult. The clue has to be the letters following the word SUPPORT.

And we know that there is a Starfleet Technical Services Academy on Mars.

Sometime in the next century. There are already tv shows on DVD-the Twilight Zone, for example.
