I'm almost afraid to ask, but has anyone counted the number of individual faces we've seen aboard Voyager over the years? I thought about this while I was watching the Ping Pong scene in Relativity the other night. There are a whole buch of crew members in the Mess Hall. Some of them were even seen in the Utopia Planitia scenes, which made for a nice tie in (of course in reality, they wanted to get all they could out of the hired extras.)
With all the group scenes, I would guess they've gotten extremely close if not over the 140-150 people that are on board the ship. It's just sloppiness if they've gone over! One of the major points early on was that there were going to be a limited number of faces on the ship. It would be a tight family.

Well, bear in mind that minor characters are sometimes played by more than one actor (Tora Ziyal, for instance). It's plausible that some of the extras seen are actually the same crewmember, but played by different actors. (Yes, I realize that none of these extras even have character names, but this is as good an explanation as any if they go over 150.)
And, of course, there are always "Tuvix"-esque transporter accidents that can change people... :-)

I believe the website "Roll Call" kept track, but I've lost the URL, and the last time I checked, I don't believe it'd been updated in some time. But that was quite a while ago. Anybody know?

"Roll Call" is alive and well, currently resides at http://people.delphi.com/jmcquinn/RC/index.html, and has been updated to "The Voyager Conspiracy". It would seem that latest as well as future episodes will be included eventually.

Sorry if the above link doesn't work. The URL is correct, but at first I accidentally included the comma at the end in the link, and for some reason I can never make a once-mistyped link work right even after editing it to the correct form. And I'm not even using Explorer now (for a while I thought this was a browser-related oddity, but this was done with my trusty Netscape...)

Timo: When you edit the link, you have to edit the URL that is inside the brackets (the one that says "URL="). The second copy of the URL is simply what is displayed on the screen and doesn't affect the link itself.

Umm... I know that much (otherwise, I wouldn't even be able to do the trick of replacing the URL with a cute little word or phrase like "click here"). But it didn't seem to be working in the above case. I must have screwed up something else, too.
