Good thing you quoted his entire post there. I had forgotten it by the time I'd hit the "down arrow".
Nemeis: C&C has almost certainly got the video rights. Try asking them (although I wouldn't be surprised if we get a DVD release too. Unlike DS9 and VOY, they could release them on DVD from the get-go. But we'll have to wait and see).

It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Brother.... I'm new here, but have been around some other MB's, and I sincerely hope that there are some mature, thoughtful, and kind people on this board who would like to share thoughts and analysis of 'Star Trek'. I'm positive that there are.
I can't answer specifically for video tapes, but I think the average wait for mainland Europe on the tape release is about a year after the US/Canada airdates. As for DVD's, I wouldn't really count on seeing any of those for Enterprise until at least the series is well underway (with a more likely release being after the series has concluded).

Why do I like Star Trek? That's probably a discussion better suited for the General Trek Discussion area one forum above us. In short, I guess it's partly based on idealism and partly based on drama. It's also allowed me a creative outlet. I consider the special effects to be icing on the cake. Of course, the story itself is the cake (and who likes to eat just a bucket of icing?).

In the past few days, I have learned more about Omega than I really cared to know. Bleh!
