If we do, it wouldn't technically be messing with continuity. Spock did comment on the Tholian's "renowned Tholian punctuality", so they must of had several dealings with them in the past. Sense it was never stated when those dealings took place, we may see a few Tholians in Enterprise. Fat chance on the Gorn though unless Braga wants to rewrite history a bit.

How is it messing with continuity? Because Spock said they're punctual? You pretty much go on to argue why it ISN'T messing with continuity. Aye-yi-yi ... ::rolls eyes::
