"I don't know, her ambulatory appendages have a pleasing cross-section, but her head might as well be spindleless." How does that guy sleep at night?
Head-spindles! Tim wins the power-up for this one.

-------------------- Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Well, Aban, almost certainly. Sexiness practically pours off of him like some kind of attractive sweat.

Well, not to change the topic from my inate sexuality... but I finally got to see all the episodes up to Exile, so I can finally actually comment on the show.
I'm left wondering why the crew didn't offer to take him somewhere, too. I few more days of Hoshi avoiding him wouldn't have been that big of a deal. She's a big girl.
And geez... that dress she had on was in-cred-i-ble.
I wonder if Travis is ever going to actually get to do anything. The most we've seen him do so far is pilot the shuttle to the asteroid and wet himself when he saw one flying towards them.

Regarding swearing and Trek, every time I've seen a Trek-actor in a regular motion picture and the actor is supposed to swear (Avery Brooks in "The Big Hit" especially) it always comes out wrong, very forced and rushed-through. It is as if all their years doing TV-shows for kids has made them develop a mental inhibition against swearing, i.e. bad role modeling according to them. It really limits their acting range. Scott Bakula too, he can't swear to save his life, no more than Richard Dean Anderson, who he's always competed with for the crown of "Ultimate Role Model for Boys".

On the other hand, their sidekicks can swear like sailors. Dean Stockwell can swear....and sing nicely in a dress as well.
OKay, I'm at a loss for anyone on Stargate swearing but I often exclaim "Damn, I'd fuck that Samantha Carter!"
Often in crowded elevators or church.

And, to prove how amazingly intelligent I am, the first reference to swearing on TNG would be in season two's "The Samaritan Snare". When Picard was recounting the Nausican story to Wesley, he says something like:
"I told him what I thought of his pals, his race, and I might have made some passing reference as to his questionable parentage."
