From Sci-Fi Wire: http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/art-main.html?2001-05/15/12.00.tv "Some crew members on the upcoming fifth Star Trek series, Enterprise, will wear blue jumpsuit uniforms emblazoned with a starship shoulder patch, sources told SCI FI Wire. The Voyager-like jumpsuits are solid navy-colored with contrasting yoke and shoulder piping in colors designating status or ship's functions, and are completed with a black mock turtleneck, the sources said. The left shoulder patches will feature a white-on-blue image of the titular starship, which resembles the original Enterprise, the sources said."

I think adding/deleting forums (or, for that matter, fuckin' with the BBoard in general) will cause the Flare Forums to self-destruct and kill everyone in a fifty-mile radius of a computer.

Do NOT replace the beloved DS9 forum with that series' forum

You know, AndrewR, why don't you just give the show a chance instead of condeming it before you've even seen it?

You know - I should really - I for one HATE how people do this... so yeah - I'm being hippocritical... but... if everyone else bags EVERYTHING before they see it on the net, why can't I for ONCE!!!!!
I just KNOW they are going to
1. Fuck up continuity 2. Make a rehash show 3. Lack originality 4. Change the premise each season - with a MAJOR change around season four just to drag in more viewers 5. Have little or no characterisation 6. Try and make it more action orientated. 7. Won't take risks 8. Be eye-candy instead of brain-candy 9. Ignore they're fans - and I'm talking about their new fans for their own show. 10. Try and ignore Trek 11. say (especially Rick Berman) "this is the closest trek has come to the original series" - oh hang on - he's already said that. 12. Do a lot of 'fan boy' shit - case and point Klingons. 13. Not have smooth head klingons. 14. Have one word titles 15. Be simplistic and trite and treat the audience like children.

Smooth headed Klingons are where TPTB really f-ed up. They should NEVER have addressed that issue in "Trials & Tribbleations." I, for one, DON'T want smooth-headed Klingons. Kor, Kang, and Koloth are pretty cut and dry proof that Klingons don't have have smooth-heads, and DS9 contradicted itself on that one pretty soundly.

The Comprehensive List of TNG titles of either one word or with a "THE" and one other word. Wow. Glad one word titles don't talk to the quality of a series.

It seems to me that TNG and DS9 established that smooth-headedness was temporary among Klingons. Since it went away right after TOS, I'm guessing it started not too very long before. So, if ENT has smooth-headed Klingons, they'll be messing things up, not fixing...

Maybe it's just me, but if this 24th Century-style uniform report is true, I'm getting a sneaking suspicion that this new show really isn't BOTF! (I admittedly classify myself as an anti-BOTF-er) Changing T'Pau to T'Pal also makes me wonder. Have we all been fooled? Are TPTB so clever? Or is this wishful thinking on my part?

Ahhhh but - I love the beautiful - imaginative DS9 titles...
also though some of those TNG titles - are great 'single words' for titles - some of the Voyager one's you just TOTALLY forget...
Emanations - good Nemesis - clich
Not very imaginative:
Maneuvres Unity Remember (All I think about is Star Trek II and III) Riddles Drive Twisted Displaced Retrospect Drone Bliss Gravity (Although its a BRILLIANT EPISODE) Juggernaught The Fight The Swarm The Disease The Cloud Initiations Projections Investigations Imperfection Night Meld Rise Warhead One Alice
Imaginative: Phage The Thaw Dreadnaught Pathfinder Scorpion Virtuoso Memorial Tsunkatse Fury Timeless The 37's Cathexis Prototype Deadlock Flashback The Chute Parturition Tuvix Basics Coda The Raven Deathwish Lifesigns Faces Jetrel
