Where can I get illustrations/schematics of Star Trek ships, of all kinds (and not CG)?

That should serve you as a start, especially the first one.

Not to too blatantly advertise, but I've got a couple at my site in the sci-fi gallery. Intrepid and Nova.

I might remind you, though, that whomever's work thou useth, and for whatever purpose thou art seeking it, thou needest to obtain their blessing in advance.

Unless you're German. I can prove that empirically. Except for Bernd, of course, he's the exception which proves the rule.

Tachy the turnip remade his Sci-Fi art page some months ago to some new version, v2, v3 or something, and a lot of independent sites on that domain disappeared and was assimilated into his place.

I think they did it willingly, many of them were 3d-folk designing shipmodels and had connections to Tachy even before the 'sweep'. At least that's what I think happened. Anyone with more info please correct me where I miss info.

By "Tachy sweep" you mean SciFiart (which I will never drool over, not now, not ever) I presume?

To Aban Rune (meaning?): Would I need permission for private, non-commercial use (In other words, to get my Ya-Yas out)?

To Vogon Poet: What is the German comment about?

Yah, I didn't get the German thing either...

I think the general rule is, personal enjoyment (ala private collection, wallpaper, etc.) is cool. Who's going to know anyway? If it gets reprinted or posted anywhere else, you need to ask first.

Aban Rune is my Jedi name.

Put simply the two people who've pinched my work to date were both German, and didn't seem to have any problem with doing it.
