What deck is the conference room supposed to be on, on the Enterprise? Watching a few episodes like "Space Seed" (That is SUCH a cool episode) We see that the walls 'curve' in a similar manner as if they are on the 'bubble' deck... that deck directly below the bridge.

Could be any deck, really. Oddly-shaped arches are present on every starship set we've seen - for example, the lighting grilles on the Junior Officer's quarters set on Voyager...

I've just felt though, solely reguarding TOS sets, that they really DO try to stick to the hull curvature... and the conference room walls are VERY bizzare... they really fit that 'bubble' deck, under the bridge. I've noticed that the walls of the quarters really fit the 'slopey' part of the saucer section, and the roof of the Engineering set fits well with the hull of the engineering section.
