Well, not really...

TNN showed all six original series movies this weekend. And as I was watching the conference scene between Kirk & Admiral Morrow in ST:III, something caught my eye. Directly between them, hanging on a wall, is the model of the Epsilon IX station from TMP!

It was not the complete station epsilon IX but only one of the antennae arrays. I can't see any reason why they'd place a model of a communications relay in a bar at spacedock.

Maybe another important question is: Do we have to add 'Star Trek III' to our shiplists as a reference for Epsilon IX? [Smile]

I seemed to recall seeing two pieces of it, the larger on one wall and the smaller on another.

No. It's the entire station. It's on one wall. And I'm silently cursing myself for not having the ability to make screencaps, so that I can prove what I'm saying.

Here's the screen.

I think we're both right. The entire station appears to be on the wall seen through the door, and a portion of it appears to have been detached and mounted on an opposite wall as Kirk exits.

You mean TNN was showing the original 5 movies together, right? Last time I checked, USA/Sci-Fi Channels had the rights still to Star Trek VI.

I should also add USA/Sci-Fi aquired the rights to Star Trek Generations from FOX, and will start showing it on Sci-Fi soon.

I believe they showed 2, 4, and 5. Or was it 2, 3, and 5? Something like that.
