How many Excelsior variants do we know now, except these from the DS9TM? I'm primarily interested in all those behind-the-scenes-never-used-onscreen-models such as the (in)famous quad-nacelle variant.

BTW, I reckon that this must be my first post in more than a year time. I'm glad to be back.

Well, there's three study models that we know of, which were all used in either (or both) TNG episodes "The Best of Both Worlds" and "Unification". There's one that strongly resembles the final thing, only a bit more squat and compact, one that is very long flat and skinny, and one that's similar to that one, only it has four nacelles.
