I've been working on getting a listing of all Federation starship registry numbers off and on again now for a couple of years. It's a never-ending project, and I'm always finding more sources, both canon and non-canon. What I'm hoping is that someone can guide me to a site (or sites) listing the registry numbers created by FASA, and other fan sources, especially of those in the early 80's. Here is my current work in process. Note; it's likely to change again in ten minutes as updates and corrections are constantly added...

Have you tried Steve Pugh/Identity Crisis' site? He's got a lot of non-canon and fandom info and (though they're not a part of the main listings) several complete lists of registries from (IIRC) FASA and other such sources.
My site (or at least the sections of it that are up, which it basically all of Starfleet and up to the "L"s of the Federation) has essentially every single canon registry known, and a number of annotations on related non-canon and fandom regs, but you've probably already got most or all of them.

The other 'big lists' are the original Star Fleet Technical Manual; Ships of the Star Fleet (two vols); and Jackill's Star Fleet Reference Manual (three vols). Some other works give a list for an individual class, or give a few random registries here and there.
James Dixon collected a whole bunch of registries together from many sources: http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Crater/2077/nccs.txt Alas he doesn't give individual sources, just a list of references at the end. And this file dates from 1995, but that is after the main bulk of print fandom.
Hope that helps.

Identity Crisis, your site was an invaluable refrence, especially for ships from the LUG RPG games. Thank you. And MMoM, thanks for your input as well, your sites looking great! Some of your assumtions make a great deal of sense.

There's always my listing, just as long as you don't want sources. (Warning: 2 MB HTML, I think)
