Five days ago, I requested a scan of some okudagrams. They are the records of Relay Station 47. I was wondering if anyone got a chance to slow frame these things, and determine what is on them and what is not on them. (I had also requested screen grabs of the shuttle Verne and the USS Yosemite.)

I'll make those screenshots as soon as I get Season 6.

There is a close-up shot of one of the Relay station's consoles. It is a scrolling screen. To the left, there are what appears to be stardates. Next to the stardates, there is text.

God, I'd love to have a book with all those displays.

Highly interesting stuff. The first display is probably just random-number nonsense, but the second features log entries - and the fact that we got a reasonably good close-up in the third suggests that *all* the entries were written to be coherent enough for a close-up.
Nice to hear that Epsilon IX has been replaced! "Delta Vega sector"... Now that's a Star Charts problem, since Delta Vega was assumed to be close enough to Earth not to have a sector of its own. Not a big problem, though. Just rename the next sector in the direction of Vega, and move "Delta" Vega a bit farther out.
And I'd pay real funny money to get that map on Klingon space.
stardate 46458 had to switch the new starbase 237 lines back to normal feed in the delta vega sector. Nothing exciting but we took the opportunity to perform some upgrades in the data compression software. We were finding the odd verteron in most of those units which shouldn't be a problem sincee they are low-traffic lines but it is better ?anyhow?
Stardate 46459
Stardate 46460 More heavy traffic to the epsilon IX station. I think starfleet's got some big science project brewing there with at least half a dozen starships floating around.
There you go.

I'm pretty sure Verteron wasn't used in Trek until later. My take on that line was:

finding an old version cropping up in your messages is a prime concern when youre upgrading... that is the whole point of upgrading something.. to eliminate the old version..

The last picture, with the two displays we can barely see above LaForge. The one on the right lists Starbases and Starships. I count 4 Starbases (looks like the 3rd one is Starbase 11), and 8 Starships. Anyway we can get a clearer view of that screen?

I'm wondering if Okuda saved all these graphics on his computer. They've been made on a Macintosh, right?
