Aside from both the Fortunate and this alien ship being bilaterally symmetrical (does that mean what I think it means?) I don't see much of a resemblance.

The ship was a freighter, like the Fortunate.

The ship had eight cargo containers, four on each side, like the Fortunate.

The ship had underslung warp nacelles at the rear of the cargo pods, like the Fortunate.

The ship had a control center at the front, like the Fortunate.

The ship had a mustardy-brown color, like the Fortunate.

The maximum warp of the ship was Warp 2, like the Fortunate.

The ship was a freighter, like the Fortunate.

What, so it's a sin now for a ship to be a freighter?

The ship had eight cargo containers, four on each side, like the Fortunate.

No. This freighter had six cargo pods. Also, the Fortunate had a fore section and basically a rack that the pods attached to whereas this ship's containers were connected to a long body.

The ship had underslung warp nacelles at the rear of the cargo pods, like the Fortunate.

All trucks have an engine in the front, what's your point? Maybe at this point in time, the best spot for nacelles on a freighter is in that spot?

The ship had a control center at the front, like the Fortunate.

All Federation starships have a bridge in the same location, at the top centre of the primary hull. IIRC, the only ship to have a control centre at the back was the Groumall. What's wrong with this?

The ship had a mustardy-brown color, like the Fortunate.

This ship is more brown. Also, what's the point? Is it illegal for ships to be the same colour?

The maximum warp of the ship was Warp 2, like the Fortunate.

Warp 2.2, actually. This indicates to me that the designers of this freighter don't have higher warp capability than this. Perhaps getting to warp 3 is a rather difficult undertaking at this point in time.

I was just showing Sol the resemblances that he didn't notice but that I did. No need to get nitpicky.

Most of those seem to be covered by symmetry.

Those bastards! They never did that in TOS! Or ever before in Enterprise!

It is perhaps the late hour that makes me shouty. Sorry.

So you'd guess they know better by now [Wink]

Just a curiosity: no Phlox at all in this episode? Or did I just miss him?
