Can anyone direct me to a picture (preferably a nice oblique view like the Fact Files often did, though really any will suffice) of the CGi model of the Enterprise-E used in First Contact and Insurrection? I know there was one in the Starship Spotter... (I've seen a couple CGI shots with Sovereigns, but they look a bit like fan-made models to me. I'm not so hot at determining these things.)
And, furthermore, does anyone know of one of the new model from Nemesis?
Thanks, -MMoM

Really? I thought there was only one digital model before a new one was built for the new film. I wonder why they built a new one for INS?

in 1996, when FC came out, Star Trek was only in the very beginning stages of using CGI ship models.. i believe the CGI 1701E from FC was only used in a few scenes, since it lacked the quality of the physical model. In Insurrection, they relied much more heavily on the CGI, which was made higher quality.

The Insurrection VFX were entirely CG, whereas the vast majority of FC footage of the Ent-E was motion control. ILM made the CG model for FC but the jokers that did Insurrection VFX, Santa Barbara Studios, built that Sovereign model.
