NObody dropped out of warp during the trun....or on TNG either for that matter. The writer for Voyager didint do their homework. That's all.

I just realized something that's semi-interesting. One Valerie Canamar worked as an assistant to Michael Westmore on Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Insurrection. Coincidence?

I doubt it very much. There are likely lots of things named after staff members that we still have'nt caught.

That line didn't make the slightest bit of sense. Just one of the ridiculous treknical fuckups of Voyager (warp-particles!? transwarp shuttle built in your spare time!?)
