Nope. This space reserved for bumping of links to content-featuring threads only.

What can be said about TOS starship weaponry, really? Such minimal effort was made to represent it by VFX that the corresponding sets and dialogue snippets are largely wasted. It all boils down to "Fire! Direct hit, sir/Drats, missed!"...

I wouldn't call it minimal effort . . . just minimal results, due to minimal time, minimal budget, and minimal FX technology.

If you think those typos drive you crazy, try reading your daughter's webchat dialogue.

1- Unlike us geeks and nerds, they do NOT use English. I'm not sure what secret code they do use, but I'd bet the NSA would pay billions for the encription program (wait a minute, there's a movie idea there...).

2- Their data transfer speed is incredible, but how do they read it?

If my parents were reading my online conversations, I think I'd speak in code, too.

And I've heard teenage girls talk in real life, and they have a similar "data transfer speed". They cope by not actually listening to what anyone else is saying.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.
