The idea was to make the old (and detail-less!) SFB Gorn design look "Lost era"- it took a lot of detail to get there, but I think it worked out.
I wanted something pretty weapon-crazy that while only about 400 meters long, could take down a Ambassador class...at least an Excelsior. Something that might still be patrolling Gorn space into the DS9 era. :8)
Opinions and comments welcome, of course! :8)

Very cool. I love the design and your detail is great. Only thing I don't care for is the giant lettering circling the primary hull. But maybe it's a Gorn thing...

Yeah- all the disruptors swivel and pivot- there's two dorsal and two ventral turrets and then the two huge cannons on the engineering pod, two big torpedo launchers on the ventral side (facing forward) and the main gun- an "AGT" kinda mega-ultra-phaser thingie to knock down an enemy ship's shields or deliver the killing blow. Those massive disruptor cannons on the engineering pod would be the ship's main guns- pity the ship that took both in a broadside.
Aban, the big lettering is from the SFB game- I went crazy with it going all around the clock-face of the command pod, but I figure, hey- it's the frikkin' BATTLESHIP- go crazy.
Also unique to this design- three impulse drives to manke this beast crazy manuverable in an odd lurching way- I figure the Gorn can take whatever G's their inertial dampeners cant handle.

Personally, for a Gorn ship I would have gone more for tribal markings than lettering and perhaps a kill tally of some kind.

...I can see it. That or a giant stadium style scoreboard bolted to the hull, complete with a little animation and fanfare every time that get a kill.
