Once again fellow geek extraordinaire Doug Drexler has posted more eye candy. His latest Facebook album is a series of pictures from a trip to Gary Hutzel's sto rage locker, showing new pictures of such things as DS9 kitbashes, one of the Wolf 359 ships, USS Saratoga's escape pod, the Klingon D7 from Trials and Tribble-ations, and a few other nifty things. Sorry for the lack of pictures but I am on a bus on my way to a night shift so don't have the capabilities on my phone. If no one else posts by the end of my shift I'll add them tomorrow morning.

Just looked at the pics. The kitbashes are the Buran, the Raging Queen, and the 3-nacelled Excelsior nicknamed the "Hutzel" (how apt is that?)
That's awesome that the Buran had survived all these years! And now we have better pics of it than that one false-color slide photo.
Some observations:
1. The Buran's registry number is confirmed as NCC-57580.
2. The Raging Queen doesn't have the Excelsior shuttlebay at the front of the ship like the Curry does. It has something there, but I'm not sure yet what it is. Its registry is actually 42264, not 42284. It looks like the nacelles are attached to the secondary hull both by a set of Reliant pylons just like the Curry (but attached at a horizontal axis to the secondary hull, not vertical to the saucer like the Curry) and a set of thin strips taken from a runabout model. Unfortunately, I still don't know how the saucer is attached to the secondary hull.

There is also a weird model, supposedly a star trek model ship, but I have never seen it on screen. Perhaps a deep background model? Perhaps from the Qualor yard? Perhaps not used? Perhaps not St?

^Yeah, I've never seen that ship before. Unless it was one of those far-background things in Unification, I have no other idea where it could have been used. Same goes for that green tubular-looking thing (if it's even a ship).

Unfortunately, it just shows the default login page. No images of significance. Guess I'll have to wait until they filter down out of Facebook.

I've been thinking of getting some extra ships from the official Eaglemoss collection and making some of these kitbashes from them. They all seem to be compatible in scale with their larger AMT & Revell kit versions.

When I analyse the damage pattern of the USS Buran in those new pictures then I find that the USS Buran was filled upside down in the first BOBW-scene:
Those two pictures from facebook show us only the underside of the ship. Is there any picture available that show us the upper saucer section?

Unless Drexler has more pics he didn't show us, no. However, the Propworx people will probably be taking their own photos of the models.
