Memory Alpha has some info on a "24th Century Technical Manual", a 2-volume special issue of some fanzine from the pre-TNG Tech Manual era, 1989 and 1990. The interesting thing is that it's obviously full of production art, okudagrams and such, provided by Sternbach, Okuda and Probert themselves. There's a listing on Amazonwith some pics that should give you an idea.
Question is: has anyne of you ever seen it (or even owns one or both)? I tried to find a pdf or even excerpts on the net, but nothing turned up. I'm just trying to figure out whether there is anything interesting in it (I found out about it when I read the MA article on the SS Artemis, which, to my surprise, featured a photocopy of the okudagram from the episode). Starship Deploy Status from 'Measure of a Man' or anything we haven't seen yet would be the jackpot.

Looks awful; most of those fan manuals from that time were.
Also, LOL @ reuse of Charybdis text for Artemis.

Have you tried asking the person who uploaded the pics?
